Meet Christine

Even as a child, I was a collector of natural treasures—shells, feathers, fossils, seed pods, and of course, stones. Each item held memories and exuded a palpable energy, though I couldn’t put this into words at the time.

Today, my love affair with collecting continues. I’m drawn to natural objects and gemstones that others might consider imperfect or less valuable. When I look at a gemstone with visible organic inclusions and delicate wisps of color, I delight in its natural beauty. I don’t see flaws; I see personality, and I want to celebrate it.

How often do we look in the mirror and feel a deep joy in seeing ourselves just as we are? Instead, we often wish we were a different size, had a different nose, or could hide that all too visible birthmark. Deep down, we feel flawed, influenced by those who dictate what beauty should look like.

By highlighting the beautiful imperfections of these gemstones in my work, I push back against the notion that “flawless” is more desirable or valuable.

Let my jewelry be your touchstone—a reminder of the unique beauty you naturally possess.

Since 2004, I’ve been lovingly handcrafting each piece of jewelry in my Northern Indiana studio. My work, which features gold, silver, and a variety of semi-precious and precious stones, blends organic and modern aesthetics. I find inspiration in the natural imperfections and irregularities that reflect the beauty of nature.
